3. The warranty is void if the scales are tampered with.

interfering radiation.
5. The scales are designed for private households only and may not be
used for commercial purposes.
6. For accurate results, always place the scales on a level and solid
surface.
7. The highly sensitive sensor system is very precise. To protect this,
keep the scales away from any kind of vibration so as not to damage
them.
8. Clean the scales with a soft, damp cloth. No water must enter the
interior of the scales.
9. Do not use chemical cleaning agents.
10. Always store and use the scales in a dry place.
11. Do not load the scales above 5kg, otherwise the sensor could
become damaged.
12. Do not store the scales in an upright position.
13. Do not store heavy objects on the scales.
14. Always keep the device and batteries away from children.
15. Make sure that you use the correct type of battery and always insert
it in the prescribed direction of polarity.
16. The batteries for these scales are not rechargeable.
17. Remove the batteries if the scales are not used for a longer period of
time to avoid damage due to possible leaking batteries.
18. Only use fresh batteries for replacement and never use those with
visible damage - overheating or explosions could occur.
19. Never throw used batteries into fire. Danger of explosion!

we recommend the SmartApple App, which you can download free of
charge from the AppStore or Google Play. A QR code for downloading
the app can be found under point 6 „App and Bluetooth". The app offers
you a meaningful and clearly arranged food database with over 430
foods coordinated by a nutritionist. It is easy to enter your individual
food with desired food data, so that you can add to the food list as
you wish. The contents of the app are non-binding parameters. Please
check whether the food used may have different values or whether
there are other circumstances that could cause different values, thus
necessitating a correction of these nutritional values, otherwise there
could be a risk to health or even of life-threatening malnutrition.
