Push the sensor holder -2- onto the centring mandrel ∅ 18.4 mm -1- from the assembly tool for PDC holder -VAS 6614 C- .
Remove the protective film -3-.
Feed the centring mandrel -1- through the installation hole in the bumper cover -4- until the holder -2- lies flat.
Press the holder -2- firmly down in the area of the bonding surfaces -3-.
Remove the centring mandrel and repeat the steps with the other holders.

Note
In the figure, part of the vehicle bodywork is also shown (bottom right, wiring grommet area).
Route and connect the bumper wiring harness for the sensors.
Press bumper wiring harness under the fastening clips -arrows- in the bumper cover.

Note
Vehicles with a towing hitch are already fitted with a wiring grommet instead of the sealing plug -arrow- and a cable
is already laid. In this case, remove the wiring grommet from the bumper wiring harness supplied. Unpin single wires
from the plug connector of the bumper wiring harness and pull the bumper wiring harness through the bushing of the
available wiring grommet into the interior. Re-pin the single wires in the plug connector. Seal the wiring grommet with
butyl adhesive sealing cord (D 450 173 A2) if necessary.
