Caring for and cleaning
smooth surfaces
All smooth surfaces can be cleaned
hygienically with water and a mild, liquid
cleaning agent that is kind to the skin.
ATTENTION
Surface damage caused by
aggressive and scouring
cleaning agents
▶ Never use cleaning agents
that contain chlorine or which
are acidic, abrasive or
corrosive.
Cleaning the drain strainer
A drain strainer can also be installed to
protect the hybrid trap from dirt (art. no.
116.059.00.1).
Clean the drain strainer according to the
cleaning recommendation. → See "Caring
for and cleaning smooth surfaces",
page 7.

Replacing the hybrid trap and
cleaning the trap adapter
For hygiene reasons, replace the hybrid
trap at the recommended intervals. If
odours start to accumulate or the urine
discharge is not sufficient, replace more
frequently.

– Refer to the illustration sequence while
carrying out the instructions.

Insert the maintenance key into the
hybrid trap.

Remove and dispose of the hybrid
trap.
3
Insert the maintenance key into the
adapter retainer.
4
Remove the adapter retainer.
5
Rinse the adapter retainer with
water.
6
Insert the adapter retainer.
7
Insert the maintenance key into the
new hybrid trap and insert the hybrid
trap.
8
Tighten the hybrid trap and remove
the maintenance key.
