Instructions
Thank you very much for purchasing the Unotec Bali. Please follow the
instructions below when using this product.
Construction of the scale
1. Handle: sturdy and comfortable to grip. 2. Digital LCD: easy to read.
3. Reset button: resets the number to "0". 4. O/I button: ON/OFF & tare
function. 5. UNIT button: Easily switches among ℃ / kg / lb / oz / N by
pressing this button. 6. Strap: durable and elastic. 7. Hook: for hanging
object to be weighed.
Operation instructions
Insert batteries: First, remove the battery compartment cover. Then, insert
2 x AAA batteries by following the right polarities. Lastly, replace the bat-
tery compartment cover.
Turn on the scale by pressing the O/I button. On the LCD, "HELLO" will
appear for only one second. After that, one of the following 5 units will
appear: Temperature followed by temperature unit ℃. One of the 4 weight
units: kg or lb or oz or N on top, weight reading 0.0 or 0.00 in the middle,
"back-to-zero" sign down below. Allow the scale to warm up for 50
seconds to ensure that it can function accurately and properly. Press the
UNIT button once to go to the next unit. Units are shown in a ℃ / kg / lb
/ oz / N cycle.
To weigh an object
A. If no bag or container is needed:
1. Choose a weight unit. Press the Reset button to make sure the weight
value is "0".
2. Place the object on the weighing strap.
3. Lift the scale from the ground up. Wait for the stable weighing value
to be displayed. Very soon the weight of the object will be displayed.
Simultaneously, you will hear a "beep" sound and see "hold" appear on
the lower left corner.
4. Put the object then the scale down on floor or desktop.
5. If you want, press the UNIT button to see the weight of the object
expressed in the other 3 weight units.
B. If a bag or other containers are needed, use tare function:
1. Choose a weight unit. Press the Reset button until the weight value is 0.
2. Place an empty bag or container on the weighing strap.
3. Lift the scale from the ground up. Wait for the stable weighing value
to be displayed. Very soon the weight of the bag or container will be
