Open the knob on the water reservoir by aligning the oval

marking (0) on the knob with the marking
through a quarter turn clockwise.
Fill the water reservoir with the required level of cold water as

specified in the recipe guidelines (section 2.4). Do not fill the
reservoir above maximum capacity and don not fill the bowl
above maximum capacity.
The bowl features a measuring scale for accurate dosage.
Note
Close the water reservoir by re-applying the knob and turning it

such that the oval marking (0) on the knob is aligned with the
marking on the device.
If the device is assembled: remove the lid with a quarter turn clockwise and lift

it up (Figure 4). Now remove the bowl from the base unit with a quarter turn
clockwise and take out the baskets, if applicable.
Cut the ingredients into small pieces. Guidelines can be found in
5
section 2.4.
If you wish to steam two separate ingredients without mixing
them:
Place the half-basket into the basket such that the former is
secured in the internal grooves of the latter.
Then add the ingredients to the baskets.
Place the basket and half-basket, if applicable, into the bowl.

Apply the lid to the bowl and turn it anti-clockwise until it locks

into place.
Place the bowl on the base unit and secure it with a quarter turn
8
anti-clockwise.
Connect the device to the power supply.
