Always disconnect the device from the power supply if no electricity is required
for the current activity (e.g. cleaning, removal or insertion of blades or other

detachable parts, storage).
Hold the required blade (either the blending

blade 9 or the smoothie blade 16 ) at the
top as shown and slide the seal onto the
blade with the suction lip at the bottom.
Insert the base of the blade through the

opening at the bottom of the bowl.
Apply the blade securing element 12

(flower-shaped nut) with the unlabelled
side facing the base of the blade.
Turn the blade securing element counter-

clockwise until it locks into place. Hold the
blade on the inside of the bowl while doing
so.
Check that the blade has been correctly
installed by letting go of it and briefly
turning the blade securing element. The
blade must turn with the securing element.
To remove the blade, complete the above steps in reverse order.
Note
Never activate the device without a correctly inserted blade.
