Function of pipe interruptor
The pipe interruptor prevents water
from flowing back into the drinking
water line when the bathtub is
filled.

Assembly steps
Install the profile seal and
overflow unit.
Screw the fastening flange
with O-ring into the overflow
unit.
Installation example using
steel bathtub (screw-in valve
22.5 mm).
Tighten screw-in valve with
assembly aid supplied.
Mount overflow pipe and
ensure sufficient insertion
depth.
Tighten fastening polygon
screw slightly.
Mount cover rosette onto the
overflow unit.
Mount connecting elbow

onto the drain and tighten
union nut by hand.
After assembly is complete,

perform a leakage test.

Cleaning
Unscrew the cover plate per
hand.
Clean the inlet element under
running water.
Replace damaged seals.
To install, follow the same steps in reverse order!
Installation diagram
Tighten the fastening flange.
Installation example using a
plastic bathtub (screw-in valve
30 mm).
Bowden wire length 540 and
725 mm. Mount overflow pipe
and, if necessary, shorten.
Insert inlet element.
Place the cover plate onto the
thread.
Loosen the connecting bend
from the drain and connect
on the water side.
To close the valve cone:

Turn the rotatable collar
anticlockwise.
Lift cover.
Loosen internal polygon
screw on the valve cone.
Clean drain casings as
required.

Mount the seal onto the drain
casing.
Insert screw-in valve with seal
into the drain casing. Coat
profile seal on inside with
lubricant.
Bowden wire length 1070
mm. Mount overflow and
extension pipes and, if
necessary, shorten.
Turn the external ring of the
inlet element onto the screw
heads of the screw-in valve.
Screw the cover plate into the
thread manually.
Install the screw connection
piece.
To open the valve cone:

Turn the rotatable collar
clockwise.
Loosen internal polygon
screw and remove inlet
element.
Close the valve cone and
hold this position with the
rotatable collar. Remove valve
cone.
