Operation

Please observe local regulations
concerning noise protection.
Removing / inserting the
battery
1. To remove the battery (7) from
the appliance, press the release
button (9) on the battery and pull
out the battery.
2. To insert the battery (7), place
it on the guide track and push
it back into the appliance. It will
audibly snap in.
Do not insert the battery until
the appliance is fully assembled.
Risk of injury!

Turning on and off

Ensure you are standing solidly
and hold the device firmly and
away from your body. Before
switching the device on, ensure it
is not in contact with any objects.
1. Check that the battery (7) is in
(see "Removing/Inserting the
battery").
2. Press the on/off switch (5) to
start the device.
3. To turn it off, release the on/off
switch (5). The device cannot
be switched to continuous
operation.

Working with the appliance

Only use the device when the
blower pipe is attached!
You get optimal results when you use
the blower with a separation distance
to the ground of 5 -10 cm.
Direct the airstream away from your-
self. Ensure that you do not to stir up
any heavy objects and hurt somebody
or damage something.
Before blowing, loosen leaves adher-
ing to the ground with a broom or rake.
In very dry conditions, lightly moisten the
surface, to reduce the build-up of dust.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Contact our Service Centre about
repairs and servicing not described
in this manual. Only use OEM
parts. Risk of injury!
Turn off the appliance and, before do-
ing any servicing, remove the battery.
The following cleaning and servicing
should be done regularly. This will ensure
a long and reliable service life.

Cleaning

Do not spray the appliance with
water and do not immerse it in
water. Electric shock hazard!
Keep clean the ventilation slots, motor
housing and handles of the appliance.
Use a damp cloth or a brush.
Do not use cleaning agents or sol-
vents. You may otherwise irreparably
damage the appliance.
