9 MAINTENANCE
Warning - danger!
Before any maintenance procedure and/or during troubleshooting, disconnect the power cable (A8) from the socket. All maintenance and cleaning work can
then be carried out.
9.1
Cleaning
After each use, sluice the appliance and all external components with clean water. Remove hard deposits with a jet of water. Dirt and clay inside the pump
body (A4) cause jamming of the impeller, leading to malfunctions when the pump is restarted.
In the event that this procedure is overlooked, the appliance can be immersed in water at up to 35°C for several days to dissolve the dirt.
10 STORAGE
It is essential to protect appliances from frost, and in case of temperatures of +5°C or below they must be uninstalled and stored in a dry place, protected from
frost.

Possible causes
1. Mains voltage too low.
2. Plug (A12) not properly connected.
3. Residual current device tripped.
4. Impeller jammed.
5. Motor or capacitor damaged.
1. Suction strainer (A1) fouled.
2. Check valve jammed (if installed).
3. Air bubble in pump body (A4).
1. Suction strainer (A1) partially fouled.
2. Hose obstructed.
3. Delivery hose too small.
4. Water discharge point too high in relation to appliance.
1. Solids are obstructing free rotation of the impeller.
2. Liquid too hot.
3. Electrical voltage outside tolerance range.
4. Motor faulty.
5. The water level in the well is too low and/or water is not flowing
in fast enough.
1. Motor overloaded due to friction between dirt particles and
impeller.
2. Not enough water in the well to cool the appliance.
1. Well water not clean.
2. Appliance too close to the bottom of the well.
1. Check that mains power is present and that the plug (A12) is
firmly connected.
2. Firmly connect the plug (A12).
3. Reset the residual current device.
If the device trips again, consult an electrician.
4. Free the impeller from possible obstructions.
5. Notify the dealer.
1. Clean the suction strainer (A1).
2. Clean or replace the valve (if installed).
3. Tilt the appliance under water to allow the air to escape from the
pump body (A4).
1. Clean the suction strainer (A1).
2. Remove the obstruction.
3. Use hoses of at least ø 25 mm (1").
4. Remember that excessive head will reduce the flow rate.
1. Remove the dirt!
2. The maximum temperature of the pumped liquid must not
exceed 35°C.
3. Connect the appliance to an electrical system which meets the
requirements stated on the nameplate.
4. Notify the dealer.
5. Check the water level in the well.
1. Clean the inside of the pump body (A4) by directing a jet of water
in through the delivery fitting (A2), leave the thermostat to cool for
about 1 h, and if necessary have the appliance checked by the
Service Centre.
2. Check the water level in the well. Reduce the appliance flow rate
by adjusting the connected users. Warning: a reduction of more
than 50% in the flow rate will damage the appliance.
1. Inspect the well, install a sand trap filter in the well.
2. Raise the appliance off the bottom of the well.
