add an inch of roofing shingles under the
spillway.
NOTE: The thickness of the weir is
approximately 1 inch. You can cut several
pieces of stone to make this fit.
Step 6. Route the power cord of the pump
through the hole in the resovior and then
route the tubing through the same hole.
Connect the tubing to the pump and place
the pump in the reservoir.
NOTE: Pump and tubing are NOT
INCLUDED.
Step 7. Fill the tub with water.
Step 8. Connect the spillway to the
transformer by pushing the plug into the
spillway socket and hand tighten the nut
around the plug and socket to secure.
Step 9. Plug the transformer into a
properly grounded electrical outlet.
NOTE: Also plug in the pump to the outlet

MAINTENANCE
• Clean the spillway regularly depending upon the environment in
which it is operated.
• Clean the spillway when it is visibly soiled or when a drop in
performance is detected.
• Before cleaning, always disconnect the transformer and pump
from the power source.
• Use a dryer brush to clean the inside of the spillway. We
recommend using a 10 inch long brush, approximately 1 inch thick
