8. Turn heat control knob to OFF when cooking is completed. Unplug the power supply cord
from the wall outlet. Wait until the skillet cools down. Then disconnect the heat
control knob handle from the skillet socket.
Before inital use and after each subsequent use, wash skillet in warm sudsy water, rinse
and dry. DO NOT immerse heat control knob handle or power supply cord in water or let it
come in contact with any other liquid.
For best results use nylon, plastic, wooden, or rubber utensils. DO NOT use metal utensils
as they may scratch the non-stick surface.
If there is any food residue remaining on the cooking surface, it should be removed after each
use. To do so, scrub gently with a MILD abrasive cleanser or a fine cleansing pad. DO NOT
use steel wool or abrasive kitchen cleaners. Soaking the skillet to loosen food residue is not
necessary.

3. Wash the skillet and glass lid with warm sudsy water. The glass lid can also be washed in a
dishwasher, top rack only.
4. If washing by hand, use a sponge or nylon scouring pad with liquid detergent. DO NOT use
any abrasive cleaners or metal pads as they can damage the non-stick coating.
5. Rinse and dry.
6.Wipe the outside of the base with a damp cloth. DO NOT immerse in water or other liquid.
7. Store the appliance in a dry place and wind the electric power supply cord into a coil,
securing it with a twist fastener.
