Parental responsibility
This vehicle conforms to the provisions of Euro-
pean standard EN 71, as indicated by the CE sym-
bol. Provided it is used as intended, any dangers
while playing with the vehicle are minimised.
Please bear in mind, however, that children's natu-
ral playful instincts and temperament can lead to
unforeseen situations and risks arising, for which
the manufacturer cannot be held responsible. You
should therefore instruct children or other users
on how to use the vehicle properly and make them
aware of possible dangers.
Caution is advisable when using the vehicle, as a
certain amount of skill is required to avoid falls or
collisions, which could result in injury to the user
or other people. Watch small children while they
are playing with the vehicle and never leave them
unsupervised.
Warnings
It is not allowed to carry a child in this trailer or
even let them sit in the trailer. When playing with
the Audi Junior quattro trailer, children must wear
closed shoes. Do not play with the vehicle while
wearing loose items of clothing, as these could
become damaged by the wheels. Long shoelaces
can become caught in the wheels. Make sure there
is a sufficiently large and suitable area to practise
in where there are no steep downhill inclines,
ledges, steps etc. The vehicle may not be used in
the vicinity of flights of steps, hillsides, sloping
terrain, swimming pools or other bodies of water.
If there is a flight of steps nearby, precautions
must be taken to ensure that children are not able
0449_12_BA_Audi_jun_quattro_Anh_RZic.indd 7
to ride up or down them under any circumstances.
The hitch pin supplied with the trailer may also be
used as a stabiliser. Applying excessive force may
cause the trailer hitch pin to break (e.g. lifting the
Junior quattro with the trailer attached).
Road traffic
Only use the vehicle in suitable play areas and pro-
tected spaces. The toy trailer does not meet road
traffic licensing regulations (such as the StVZO
in Germany), meaning that it may not be used on
public highways and thoroughfares (e.g. footpaths
and roads).
Care and maintenance
Care for this product using environmentally friend-
ly cleaning agents, which are not at all aggressive,
corrosive or harmful in any other way. Normally,
it is enough to wipe down the vehicle with a damp
cloth or rag.
The vehicle should be protected from road salt and
you should avoid storing it in damp spaces (e.g. a
garage) for long periods. Do not clean the vehicle
using high-pressure cleaning apparatus (e.g. a
steam-jet cleaner).
Every six months (or more often as appropriate
if the vehicle is played with frequently), check
all parts for signs or wear. To maintain the high
standard of safety built into the design, any worn
or damaged parts must be immediately replaced
and the vehicle must not be used until it has been
repaired. Only genuine replacement parts should
be used for any repairs.
Liability for product defects
This product is covered by the statutory quality
defect liability. Damage resulting from improper
use, use of force, lack of or incorrect maintenance,
or normal wear and tear is excluded from this qual-
ity defect liability.
Article number
Make a note here of the article number, which can
be found on the cardboard box. This will make it
easier to order replacement parts in the future.
