aSENSE-R-D is designed to continuously measure the CO
concentration and the temperature to maintain a pleasant work
environment, in premises where a great number of individuals
are staying, by controlling the ventilation. The CO
concentration could be used as an indicator that the airflow, and
thereby the air quality, is satisfactory. A CO
than 1000 ppm is sufficient to obtain a good work environment
and good work conditions.
aSENSE-5000-R-D is designed to detect and give alarm for a
CO -leakage in e.g. refrigeration machine rooms. The

measuring range for this performance is 0-5000 ppm. The built-
in relay in the transmitter closes at 2000ppm and opens at
1800ppm. (At these levels experience shows that it is either a
leakage or that an abnormal situation has occurred.)
FUNCTION
aSENSE is a microprocessor based temperature- and carbon
dioxide transmitter with display, relay output and an analogue
output (0-10V) that is direct proportional to the measuring
range. The automatic calibration (ABC-function) is the key to a
maintenance free operation. The conditions are normal indoor
environment or applications where some sort of ventilation
exists (min. some sort of ventilation during a 7 day period).

MAINTENANCE
In normal installations the aSENSE is maintenance free if the
automatic calibration (ABC) is activated. An inspection of the
transmitter every year is recommended.
Equipment for zero (0)-calibration is available.
