NOTE: If batteries are fully charged, charging current will not be indicated on the amme-
ter. This indication is correct for a fully charged battery. If battery has less than a
full charge, the ammeter will indicate charge current.
13. Use clamp-on ammeter to measure
current on PV (+) wire as shown
in FIG. 15-1. Depending on state of
battery charge, readings are 0 to 15
amps for TS-15 controller, and 0 to 30
amps for TS-30 controller.
14. Ensure all battery and solar charging
connections are tight. Pull test all
fl oating wiring connections.
