3 Commissioning of the inverter from the PV field

This chapter describes how to do the commissioning of the inverter when is supplied by the PV
field. Also is possible to do the commissioning of the inverter when the inverter is connected
with the battery (chapter 4), but it is simpler to do the commissioning through the PV field.
Turn on the inverter from the PV field, it is necessary to have power input from the PV field;
additionally, the DC switch of the inverter must be closed.
The LEDs of the cover indicates that the inverter is ON. Then, it is necessary to access the
inverter.

Configuration of the ISS 1Play TL M

The inverter can be configured to work with BYD B-BOX Premium HVS/HVM though two
different ways: wizard and advanced settings. If the configuration is done during the
commissioning, the configuration will be done through the wizard.
Configuration through the Wizard:
This option is the one during the commissioning. Choose the type of battery: BYD PREMIUM
HVS or BYD PREMIUM HVM.

Please be careful to choose the right battery type when you set up the
configuration in your inverter. The battery or inverter manufacturers have
no responsibility on the damages caused due to incorrect configurations.
For instance, if you select "Lead-acid" as a battery type in the inverter
configuration and the battery being used is "Lithium-ion", the battery might
get damaged or experience performance degradation.
