Maintenance and service
Danger of explosion from explosive atmosphere
Only carry out the following maintenance work listed below.
If other valve work is needed, dismount the valve from the machine/system and send it to Parker Hannifin
GmbH.
You may carry out the following maintenance tasks:
• Check the connections general state/appearance of machine and clean the machine exterior.
• Clean exterior surfaces.
Clean the exterior of the valve with a dry, anti-static cloth. There should be no build up of flam
mable material on the valve surface in explosive environments. Ensure that it is cleaned regular
ly: how often you clean depends on the ambient conditions.
• You may also change solenoid coils with electrically operated valves. Only use ATEX solenoid
coils with the same voltage approved by Parker Hannifin GmbH.
The solenoid coils should be tightened manually with the knurled nut. Check that the solenoid
coil is fitted correctly after installation.
