DESCRIPTION
The PS-12 and PS-24 Power Supply Stations
are especially designed to supply backup power
to particularly demanding Fire, and Security con-
trol systems.
Both stations have built-in Electronic, and Power
Supply Modules. The Power Supply Module sup-
plies reduced, rectified Voltage from the Mains.
The backup battery (two for the PS-24 model)
can be housed inside the cabinet.
The Output Voltage of the PS-24 version is 27.6
V (the standard value for Fire control panels).
The Output Voltage of PS-12 version is 13.8 V
(standard value for Security control panels).
Both models have versions with different volt-
age supplies, as shown in the following table.

The Electronics Module can detect, and signal
Trouble conditions (refer to the LEDs Table).
Each of the 5 on-board OC Outputs is linked to a
specific Trouble condition (refer to the 'TERMI-
NALS' Table).
When one of the OC Outputs activates (i.e.
Closes to Ground -

ther Close or Open, depending on the Jumper 24
(refer to the 'PARTS' Table).

ENGLISH
Mount the Power Supply Station central to the
placement of the devices it must supply, this will
reduce the Voltage drop to a minimum.
1. Choose the mounting placement, then lay the
necessary cables.
2. Drill the holes for the Power Supply Station
(see Fig. 1). Check for plumbing and conduits
before drilling.
3. Pull the connection wires through the wire
entry 6 and secure the Power Supply Station
to the wall.
4. Complete the connections on terminal 22. Do
not connect the Input Voltage (230 V~) at
this point. The Mains wires should be bunched
and stripped but not soldered.
5. Connect the Input Voltage (230 V~, 10%,
50/60Hz) to terminal 15 of the Power Supply
Module.
CAUTION!
regulations: connect the Line to terminal
[L] and Earth to terminal [
bipolar isolating device (e.g. an automati-
co isolating switch) to protect against
overvoltage and short-circuit to earth.
6. Using the push on terminals 5, connect the
battery to the Electronics Module. When
connecting a 17 Ah battery, use eyelet
terminals instead of the push on terminals 5
and 10. Using a screw and nut, secure the
eyelet terminals to the battery terminals.
! ! ! ! ! Do not invert polarity. In the event of
accidental inversion change fuse 21
(T 8A 250V).
! ! ! ! ! The PS-24 Power Supply Station
requires two 12 V batteries that, when
connected in series by means of jumper
10 will supply 24 V (see Fig. 1).
