INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ON FIRST USE
•
Wash the measuring cup (1), the cover (2) and the cooking compartment (3): refer
to the paragraph on "cleaning".
PREPARATION OF THE POPCORN
•
Position the appliance on a perfectly horizontal and stable surface.
•
Completely unwind the power supply cable (6), make sure the switch (5) is in the
zero "0" position (appliance OFF) and connect the plug to the power point.
•
Pour the corn kernels for preparing the popcorn into the cooking compartment (3). A
minimum of 40 g and a maximum of 65 g corn kernels are recommended.
•
Correctly place the cover (2) on the appliance body (4).
•
Place a very large and heat resistant container under the chute (7).
•
Turn the appliance on by bringing the switch (5) to the "1" position (appliance on).
•
The appliance starts running.
•
When the popcorn is ready turn the appliance off by bringing the switch to the "0"
position (appliance off), disconnect the plug from the power point and wait for the
appliance to cool down before cleaning and replacing it.
IMPORTANT
•
Never place oil, butter, salt or other ingredients in the cooking compartment (3).
•
Do not leave the appliance running for more than 5 minutes: after each use let
the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes before reusing.
•
While the appliance is running never touch or remove the cover (2) since they
are very hot.
•
Do not use the appliance on heat sensitive surfaces and near inflammable
materials.
•
Do not use the appliance when the cooking compartment (3) is empty.
•
The appliance generates a lot of heat when it is running: pay attention especially
to children who may be attracted by the appliance.
SUGGESTIONS
•
Add salt to the popcorn when it is still hot.
•
You can pour two or three teaspoons of melted butter over the popcorn to your liking.
AFTER USE
•
Disconnect the plug from the power point and let the appliance and all its parts cool
down.
•
Remove any residuals from inside the cooking compartment (3) by turning the
appliance body upside down.
