Task Description
The inspection glass of the hydraulic power
unit is on the side panel of the housing and
can be inspected from without (see chapter
8.3).
The manometer, which is attached to the side
check panel of the machine for inspection, indicates
the (fig. chapter 8.3)
Green = filter OK
Yellow= replace filter
Red
Check the complete hydraulic installation and
hydraulics make sure it is not leaking. Leaks can only be
detected and located if the hydraulic system
is cleaned regularly.
Check the condition of the hydraulic oil (see
chapter 8.3)

The machine is cleaned with brush and cloth
Cleaning The die grooves are cleaned with a brush
Cleaning The dies and the pin are cleaned, foreign
matter is removed with a suitable contrivance
(brush).
Make sure the hydraulic hoses show no signs
hoses of damage, leackage or brittle. In reference to
its functionality according to DIN 20 066, the
application continuity of a hose line must not
exceed six years, including storing time. The
storing period should be no longer than 2
years. Therefore, replacement of the lines
must be carried out in intervals of four years.

Check the level of the grease cartridge for the
bearing ( keep a spare cartridge at ready)
Cleaning Empty the oil tray of the tool lubrication.
The collecting basin of the water trap attached to
the maintenance unit for the compressed air has
to be emptied.
