Compressed Air Hose Reel
ENG
Caution!
■
Please read carefully the following safety regulations and information in the operating
instructions before working with the compressed air hose reel.
■
Before using the compressed air hose reel, please make sure how to disconnect it in an
emergency from the compressed air generated by the compressor.
■
Improper use of the compressed air hose reel can result in personal injury.
■
Keep the instructions in a safe place and readily available.
■
The design of the safety devices installed by the manufacturer must not be altered under
any circumstances.
1. General information
■
The product must not be used by children or unskilled persons.
■
Always check the FÖRCH compressed air hose reel for perfect function and intactness
as otherwise the user could be in serious danger.
■
To avoid unneccessary risky overloads use only tools of appropriate quality for the work
to be carried out. That's the only way to protect the users and extend the life of the
compressed air hose reel.
■
Individual parts of the compressed air hose reel must not be removed or modified.
■
No objects or fingers should be into the opening in the compressed air hose reel while it
is being rolled up.
■
Do not let go of the hose while it is being rolled up.
2. Installation
The compressed air hose reel can be mounted on a wall or other suitable place, using
appropriate fastening materials as required. Please take care that the supply hose will not
be trapped or damaged when the device is used. The compressed air hose reel is fitted
with a ratchet system which ensures the reach and hence the connected hose length in
almost any desired position. To unlock this catch system, a short pull on the hose
is all that is necessary. Then the desired hose length can be brought into a different catch
position. Thus it is possible to work with the slack length of hose without it retracting.
3. Pneumatic connection
1. Connect the connecting hose for the hose reel to the compressed air supply. The stated
maximum pressure for the compressed air hose reel must not be exceeded.
2. If the operational inlet pressure is higher, a pressure reducer must be fitted ahead of the
connecting line.
3. To facilitate quick tool changes, a quick-release coupling can be fitted at the end of
the hose.
4. Neither gas nor combustible liquids may be used in combination with the compressed air
hose reel.
5. Furthermore, no corrosive liquids such as acids or other incompatible substances should
be used in combination with the compressed air hose reel.
