12. Before starting up
IMPORTANT:
The use of air filters and a compressed air hose lubricator is recommended.
ATTENTION!
Before lubricating, connecting or disconnecting of the tool disconnect the compressed air.
■
Lubricating the tool, see maintenance in this operation manual.
■
Remove the dust cap at the compressed air inlet.
■
Connect the unit to a hose of suitable size.
13. Starting up
■
Switch on the compressor for the air tank to be filled.
■
Put the compressor regulator to approx. 90 PSI or 6.3 bar. The max. operational
pressure of this device is at approx. 90 PSI or 6.3 bar.
■
The turning capacity might vary depending on the size of the compressor and the
volume of the compressed air output.
■
Do not use damaged, worn or sub-standard air hoses or connectors.
■
The pressure control for achieving the right tool speed is done by means of the compres-
sor regulator resp. a pressure regulator to be mounted additionally.
■
The speed regulation is done via an air inlet regulator (not contained in the delivery).
■
The technical data of this tool is based on operation at 6.3 bar pressure.
■
Always be careful when using this cutter. When using the device carelessly the inner
parts resp. the housing could be damaged and the operational performance reduced.
■
Press the lever for actuating the tool.
■
Release the lever to stop.
■
Note that the tool keeps running even after release of the lever.
■
Switch of the compressor and store it according to the operation manual after having
finished work.
■
Only use dry, clean air with approx. 90 PSI or 6.3 bar max. pressure. Dust, flammable
vapours and too high humidity can destroy the motor of a pneumatic device.
■
Do not remove labels, replace damaged labels.
■
Keep hands, loose clothing and long hair away from moving parts of the unit.
■
Place the cutting disk onto the flange and center well.
■
Screw on the clamping nut by hand and tighten with the open-end wrench. Hold with the
second open-end wrench.
■
Spark protection (protective hood) can be loosened and set as required with the en-
closed Allen Key.
■
The spark protection (protective cover) must not be removed for safety reasons
■
Check the air pressure and adjust if necessary until the correct operational pressure is
reached.
