FLYWARE ASSEMBLY for THREE OR MORE CVA-28s USING MULTIPLE CVFLY-1A FLYWARE KITS

1. Analyze the following illustration. (Figure 3)
2. Remove top and bottom M8 suspension insert screws.
3. Arrange all the units on the floor upside down to allow the holes in the fly bracket to line up with the
holes in the top of the cabinet as shown.
4. Warning! The fly brackets must overlap as shown in the diagram for the bracket system to
function correctly.
5. Place the first fly bracket on the first two units as shown being careful to line up the holes in the
brackets with the holes in the cabinets.
6. Repeat this procedure with the next two CVA-28s overlapping the brackets as shown.
7. Complete this procedure for as many CVA-28s as you have in your cluster.
8. Place the washers on the fly brackets lined up with the holes.
9. Install button head screws as shown.
10. Install the screws using the following torque settings: 95 inch pounds or 10 Newton meters.
11. Using two people, be careful in rolling over the CVA-28s to insure the flyware brackets do not bend
which could cause structural damage to the flyware.
12. Line up the flybrackets as you did on the bottom.
13. Place the washers on the fly bracket lined up with the holes.
14. Install button head screws as shown.
15. Install eye bolt screws as shown.
16. Install the screws using the following torque settings: 95 inch pounds or 10 Newton meters.
