Turning on the Lamp
a) Screw light bulb into socket. iHL64 requires 60W type A medium base incandescent bulb (not included).
b) Power the iHL64 by plugging the power plug into a wall socket.
c) The light is turned on by pulling the string at the socket of the lamp
Installing your iPod
a) The iHL64 comes with removable dock inserts to ensure your iPod fits perfectly in the docking station.
b) Place proper insert for your iPod (see insert table under Quick Start) in dock, then gently dock iPod. When docked, your
iPod will charge until fully charged. Unit will not overcharge iPod. Note: The iHL64 will not control or charge 3G iPod
models.
c) Upon removal, gently pull upwards to minimize rocking back and forth.
Using the Line-in Jack
a) An audio patch cord comes with the iHL64. Use it to play non-docking iPods or other audio devices through the iHL64
line-in jack. Make sure there is no iPod docked in the iHL64 when using the line-in jack. Any non-docking iPod models,
including the iPod Shuffle as well as other audio devices using the patch cord, will not charge.
Listening to your iPod
a) Turn the power switch to the left to turn the speaker on. To increase the volume, continue turning the switch further to the
left. To decrease volume, turn towards the right.
b) Turning the switch to the very right will turn the speaker off.
Remark:
a) The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed
on apparatus.
b) Main plug is used as disconnect device and it should remain readily operable during intended use. In order to disconnect the
apparatus from the mains completely, the mains plug should be disconnected form the mains socket outlet completely.
c) Caution marking is located at the bottom of apparatus.
d) The marking information is located at the bottom of apparatus.
