2. Filter replacement

•
Please ensure the product is switched-off and unplugged before opening it or
dismantling the components for filter replacing.
•
With the front of the unit facing forward, pull the lid towards you at the upper end
and remove the front cover.
•
Remove the pre-filter.
• Remove the combined filters by lifting and pulling the tabs on both sides of the
filters.
• After removing the protective packaging of the new filters, insert them into the
device, making sure the side tabs are towards the outside.
•
To close the front cover, first make sure the bottom hooks are properly in place
before snapping it up to its upright and locked position.

Malfunctions and solutions

If any of the following problems occur, immediately turn off the device and contact our
AIR8 specialists.
•
Fuse has blown.
•
Exterior material gets into the device.
• The plug or power cord heats up or appears to be damaged.
Do not open the device without the presence of an AIR8 specialist.
In case of non-dangerous malfunctions, here is a list of solutions that you can perform:
PROBLEM
Unit won't operate.
Reduced air flow or poor
filtering.
The Auto mode is not
activating the Ioniser mode.
This product must not be disposed of with household waste.
a recycling point for electronic and electrical equipment.
REASON
ON/OFF button hasn't been
pressed.
Unit is unplugged.
The inlet or outlet grill may be
blocked.
The pre-filter may be clogged.
Filters may still be in their
protective packaging
The Auto mode is designed to
adjust the fan speed
depending on the air quality.
Other modes must be
activated separately
SOLUTION
Press ON/OFF button.
Plug in unit.
Ensure nothing is in front of or on top of the
device.
Check filters and replace if necessary.
Remove the plastic protection of the filters
The unit is operating normally, no action
required
