Lock fails to open when combination
is entered and outside thumbturn is
rotated clockwise.
Buttons were not fully depressed
when the combination was entered.
Lock not cleared of previous attempts
to enter access codes.
Turn the outside thumbturn to the left
to clear the wrong entry. Enter the
combination making sure you feel
each button click to know that
it was depressed fully.

Turning outside thumbturn clockwise
always retracts latch without
depressing any buttons.
Lock is in zero combination.
Follow the procedure for setting a new
combination (Section J,
but omit Step 2).

Inside thumbturn only retracts bolt
partially or not at all, in either clockwise
or counterclockwise direction.
Bolt was not properly installed.
Remove and re-install the bolt.
Review and follow instructions
in Section H.

After setting a new combination,
the lock works one time only,
then fails to open.
Buttons of intended combination were
not fully depressed when changing
combination.
This is a lost combination situation.

Solución de problemas
La cerradura no se abre cuando se ingresa
?
la combinación y se gira el cierre giratorio
en el sentido de las agujas del reloj.
Las teclas no fueron presionadas correcta-
mente cuando se ingresó la combinación.
No se borraron intentos previos de ingresar
códigos de acceso en la cerradura.
Girar el cierre giratorio exterior hacia la
izquierda para borrar el ingreso incorrecto.
Ingresar la combinación asegurando sentir
un clic cada vez que se oprime correcta-
mente una tecla.

Cuando se gira el cierre giratorio exterior en
el sentido de las agujas del reloj siempre se
retrae el pestillo sin oprimir ninguna tecla.
La cerradura está en combinación cero.
Seguir el procedimiento para configurar una
nueva combinación (Sección J: omitir el
Paso 2).
El cierre giratorio interior sólo retrae parcial-
?
mente el bulón o directamente no lo retrae, ya
sea en el sentido de las agujas del reloj o en
sentido contrario al de las agujas del reloj.
El bulón no ha sido instalado correctamente.
Retirar y volver a instalar el bulón. Leer y
seguir las instrucciones de la Sección H.
Después de configurar una nueva combi-
?
nación, la cerradura funciona una sola vez y
luego no abre.
Cuando se cambió la combinación, no se
oprimieron bien las teclas de la nueva
combinación.
Se trata de una situación de pérdida de
combinación.
