Searching for a name in the phone book
a. Press Name (right soft key .
b. Enter a name when LCD prompts "Name:" You can use Up( ) arrow soft key to
delete the last character entered. When completed, press Find (left soft key) to
search.
Note: To quickly find a name and phone number, key in the first letter of name, and/or
scroll to the name you want.
Note: Available Characters
To enter the letters of a name, press the corresponding keypad number one or more
times to display the desired character. A list of available characters and their orders
are as below. For example, press "2" once for the character "A", twice for "B", etc.

The cursor automatically advances to the next character field if you press a different key
for next character. If you need to enter consecutive characters from the same key, you
can either wait for the cursor to advance or use the Down( ) arrow key to move the
cursor forward manually.
