Electronic Lock Instructions
*4 AA batteries included
Using electronic lock for
1. Use manufacturer setting User passcode 1111.Press OK.
2. Green light indicates unit is unlocked.
3. Turn knob clockwise to open.
Creating you new User passcode (Student use)
1. Press OK twice.
2. Enter manufacturer setting User passcode 1111.Press OK.
3. Enter your new user passcode (made up of 4-10 digits).Press OK.
4. If you make a mistake, use"C" to clear.
5. Green light & 2 beeps indicate your new User passcode has been set.
6. Turn knob clockwise to open.
Creating your new Management passcode(Administrator use)
1. Press OK and hold for 5 seconds.
2. Yellow light will flash.
3. Enter manufacturer setting Management passcode 00000000(8 zeros).Press OK.
4. Enter your new Management passcode(made up of 6-10 digits).Press OK.
5. Green light&2 beeps indicates your new Management passcode has been set.
6. Turn knob clockwise to open.
Passcode Protection
1. Flashing yellow light & 4 beeps indicate an incorrect passcode has been entered.
2. If this is done consecutively 3 times, the unit will automatically lock for 1 minute.
Low Battery Indicator Light
1. Flashing red light & alarm indicates batteries are low.
2. Replace batteries immediately.
Emergency Access
1. If User forgets passcode, use Management passcode to gain entry.
2. This User passcode will automatically re-set to manufactuer passcode 1111.
3. If no power in lock, use external power supply (located on right side of
electronic lock) to gain access. Micro USB will need to be connected to
battery pack or computer.
4. If no power in lock after step #3, please remove 4 screws from inside front
door. Remove panel and ensure white clip is properly inserted (see part
circled to the right).
5. If no power in lock after step #4, please call Customer Service for help with
additional trouble shooting.
