The G4 can be set up for a 9KHz or 10KHz MW (AM) tuning rate or
for use in North America (U.S. or Canada) with 10KHz tuning rate
are needed if you're in North America.
To change these settings, use the instructions below.
To Change the Tuning Rate and Clock System
1. With the radio turned off remove one battery and disconnect the
AC adapter. Wait 60 seconds until the display goes completely
2. Reinstall the battery or connect the AC adapter. 'SET' appears in
the display for about 10 seconds. While it's in the display press
the 'ENTER' button. 9 10 appears in the display. Press 1 to select
9KHz, 2 to select 10KHz.
3. 12 24 appears in the display. Press 1 to select 12 hour system, 2 to
select 24 hour system.
