7. You can interrupt the brewing cycle at any
time by pressing the Standby button. The
red indicator light goes out. To continue the
brewing cycle, press the Standby button again.
Note: You can remove the coffee pot at
any time to serve the coffee. The appliance
automatically stops brewing. But do not remove
the coffee pot for more than 30 seconds.
8. Once brewing is finished, remove the coffee
pot and serve the coffee (approximately one
minute after the coffee stops flowing).
Note: The amount of coffee that is brewed is
less than the amount of water poured into the
tank, as part of the water is absorbed by the
ground coffee.
9. Once the cycle is finished, if you do not
want to serve the coffee immediately, leave
the coffee maker switched on so that the
hot plate keeps the coffee hot. The appliance
GB-10
switches off automatically 40 minutes after
the end of the brewing cycle if you have not
switched it off manually. For a tastier coffee,
serve it just after the end of the brewing cycle.
10. Always turn off the coffee maker and always
unplug it from the mains socket when you
are not using it.
Note: Take care when pouring the coffee, as
it is very hot just after the end of the brewing
cycle and could burn you.
