TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Oven does not heat and the
conveyor belt does not move.
Oven heats and the conveyor belt
does not move.
Top or bottom heater tubes do not
heat.
Top and/or bottom heat remains on
when the power switch is in the OFF
position.
Oven repeatedly overheats.
Top oven in a stacked installation
suddenly stops working and the fan
in the stacker is not running.
The fan is not running.
The oven is turned off and the fan is
running.

Might be Caused By
Oven is not plugged in.
Oven is not turned on.
The wall breaker may be tripped.
The reset may be tripped.
There may be a problem with the motor/
speed control or drive chain.
One or more heater tubes may have
burned out.
There may be a problem with the top or
bottom heat switch.
There may be a problem with the relay
for the heat control
The crumb trays may not be installed.
The fan may be dirty.
There may be a problem with the fan.
The high limit switch may have been
triggered in the top oven.
There may be an electrical connection
problem in the stacker.
There may be a problem with the fan or
fan switch.
Normal operation. The fan turns on as
needed to cool the oven.

Course of Action
Plug in the oven.
Press the ON/OFF switch to the ON (I) position.
1. Inspect for tripped breaker.
2. Reset the breaker.
3. If the breaker was not tripped, inspect the oven for broken heater
elements.
For broken heater elements, contact Vollrath Technical Services.
Look under the oven to see if an object is preventing the fan blades
of either fan from turning.
1. Press the ON/OFF switch to the OFF (O) position.
2. Unplug the oven.
3. Wait 30 minutes for the oven to cool.
4. Remove the object.
5. Plug in the oven.
6. Press the ON/OFF switch to the ON (I) position.
7. Press the reset button.
8. If the problem persists call Vollrath Technical Services.
Inspect the fan blades on both fans to see if they are dirty.
1. Press the ON/OFF switch to the OFF (O) position.
2. Unplug the oven.
3. Wait 30 minutes for the oven to cool.
4. Clean the fan blades.
5. Plug in the oven.
6. Press the ON/OFF switch to the ON (I) position.
7. Press the reset button.
8. If the problem persists call Vollrath Technical Services.

Verify the crumb trays are installed.
Verify the fan blades are clean. See instructions above for
inspecting and cleaning the fan blades.
Run the oven for 10 minutes. If the fan does not run, contact
Vollrath Technical Services.
Press the circuit breaker button on the back of the oven (See
"Features" on page 3.) to reset the circuit. If the problem persists,
contact Vollrath Technical Services.
