Mounting the factory header
– Remove the standard silencer and shock absorber (see the Owner's
Manual).
NOTE
1
The shock absorber does not need to be removed entirely. It is sufficient to
remove the screws and to carefully place the shock absorber into the link
fork.
- Detach the exhaust springs (1) and remove the standard header.
- Mount the shock absorber (see the Owner's Manual).
- Mount the Akrapovic header pipe, set it up, and attach it with the
supplied exhaust springs.
Do not tighten screw M8x25 (1) until the entire exhaust system is mounted
without strain.
