HOW IT WORKS

The Live Valve system automatically switches between two
compression positions, open and firm, to quickly adjust to the
terrain. This means you get a firm, efficient pedaling platform
until bumps are encountered.
Fun Facts:
• The Live Valve system monitors each wheel independently
and can switch between open and firm up to 1000 times
per second.
• As bumps are detected, Live Valve switches to the open
mode in 3 milliseconds. This is 100 times faster than the
blink of an eye!
• If the accelerometer detects zero gravity (freefall) for longer
than 25 milliseconds, such as during a jump or drop, the
suspension automatically opens to allow the next impact.
• Performance of the system is optimized to work seamlessly
in all riding scenarios, from steep climbs, to endless rolling
singletrack to rugged descents.
• The technology behind Live Valve is a combination of two
traditional damping circuits with an electronic valve.
• The system optimizes battery life by changing positions
only when needed.
• When the bike is stationary for more than 90 minutes, the
Live Valve controller automatically opens the suspension
and then shuts off to maintain battery life. The power
button must be pressed to turn the system on again.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• If the suspension feels very firm or stuck in open mode,
recalibrate the system by following the calibration
procedure in the Live Valve Owner's Guide or online at
www.ridefox.com/Livevalve.
• If the OFF button is flashing twice every 10 seconds, this
indicates a low battery level. Charge the battery.
• If the OFF button is flashing continuously, this indicates a
sensor is disconnected. Verify that all cables are properly
connected. Each cable is labeled with its corresponding
part. The Live Valve system must be connected properly
to function.
