You can then programme the floor video switcher:
• Either manually;
• Or via the service unit.

Manual programming

For manual programming of the floor video switcher, perform the following steps:

Press the programming button on the floor video switcher.
The status LED blinks.
➥ 2
Ring at the floor external unit.
➥ 3
Press the programming button on the floor video switcher.
The status LED goes out.
The address of the floor external unit and the serial number of the video internal
unit are stored in memory.
Programming via the service unit
Use the followng key combination to programme the floor video switcher via the
service unit:
✱ 63 # Serial number floor video switcher # Serial number video internal unit
# address floor video external unit #
For more information about programming via the service unit, see manual service
unit 10-870.
Note!
If you programme the floor video switcher via the service unit, you can no longer
programme it manually.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of problems, always first check with a multimeter whether the following volt-
ages are present:
• Between b and a: approx. +24VDC;
• Between b and P: approx. +24 VDC;
• Between M and P: approx. +24VDC;
• Between b and V1 or V2: approx. +5VDC.
A list of possible problems with their causes and remedies is given below.
