6. Finish Wall
- Complete finished wall with two 1 7/8" diameter holes for spout
and handle shank. Space hole centers 4" (10.2cm) apart.

NOTE
To ensure proper fit and appearance, do not oversize these
holes.
- Pull both plaster guards off, and discard them.
7. Install Spout
:
NOTE
Use care to avoid scratching spout finish.
- Pull off spout thread protector, and discard it.
- Slide bonnet onto spout, as shown.
- Loosen spout setscrew, and thread spout into mixer outlet port until
it is snug.
- Back spout off until it points straight down. Tighten setscrew to
secure spout in place.
- Carefully slide the bonnet on spout, pushing firmly until it bottoms
against spout shank flange.
- Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to back surface of one
escutcheon according to the putty manufacturer's instructions.
- Carefully slide escutcheon over spout and bonnet, and press it firmly
against finished wall. Remove any excess putty or sealant.
