the furnishing to a service center
for examination and repair.

Installation instruction
Connect the transformer and the
remote control to the motors. As a
strain relief for the plug the electric
cables has to be fixed to the cable
guide as shown in figure 3.
Put the plug in a wall socket.
Place the electric cables so that
they are protected from damage.
The electric cables shall be allowed
to move freely.
Insert the batteries into the remote
control as shown in figure 6.
Instructions for use
The bed shall only be used as a
bed allowing infinite adjustment of
both the head section and the foot
section, separately or together.
To adjust the position of the bed
upwards/downwards, press the
button with up/down arrow on the
remote control.
The bed stays in the desired posi-
tion when the button is released.
Do not adjust the bed upwards and
downwards repeatedly.
If the bed is overloaded, the motors
will stop. Wait for a while and then
try again.
The bed should be placed with
space around it.
In case of a power cut out both the
head section and the foot section
can be lowered manually. For in-
struction see figure 7. To re-engage
the drive after manual lowering,
see figure 8.
Safety instructions
Do not sit or stand on either the
head section or the foot section
unless the bed is in its horizontal
position, see figure 9.
Adjustment of the bed upwards
or downwards is associated with
a certain squeeze hazard. To
minimize this risk, take the following
precautions:
The distance between the bed and
surrounding fixed objects (bedside
table, window-sill etc.) shall, to pre-
vent the risk of squeezing of arm,
be minimum 12 cm (4 3/4"), and to
prevent the risk of squeezing other
parts of the body, minimum 50 cm
(19 3/4").
To eliminate other squeeze risks,
there shall be an adequate dis-
tance to surrounding objects.
