1. Remove the packaging and make sure that appliance is intact.
2. Insert the power cord and always make sure the fireplace log insert is placed on a firm and level surface.
3. Turn on the fireplace log insert by using the switch on the backplate.
4. After use, always ensure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the main supply.
• The appliance only needs an external cleaning. Do not open and clean inside.

Replacing the Lamp
• Remove the main plug from the socket before attempting to replace the lamp.
• On the top at both sides of the log there are two separate screws. Remove the two screws and lift off the
log. Pull out the old bulb located at the centre of the light unit, replace with a new G9 Halogen Frosted 40W
bulb.
