Converting Your Crib

Step 1:
Before attaching the Toddler Bed Conver-

sion Kit your Crib must be converted to a
Daybed with the Mattress Platform in the
lowest position. See Figure 1. Refer to
page 13 in your Crib Instruction Booklet.
Do not reattach the Crib Side.
If the Mattress Platform is already in the

lowest position it is recommended that you
remove the Mattress Platform before at-
taching the Safety Rail to allow easier ac-
cess to the Base Rail of the Crib.
Remove the Crib Side. Refer to page 13 in

your Crib Instruction Booklet.
Remove the (4) 2 3/8" Connector Bolts

that attach the Mattress Platform to the
Mattress Brackets with the provided
wrench and lift the Platform out of the
Crib. Place the Platform and the (4) Con-
nector Bolts to the side so that they can be
reattached later. See Figure 2.
Figure 3 illustrates how your converted

Crib should look at this point.
