Connecting the CO

Use the key to open the back door of the trap and plug the trap into a household socket

1 Connect the regulator to the CO circulation

system: take the black pipe from inside

the trap and connect it to the elbow
the regulator
2 Screw the regulator onto the CO bottle

Screw it on as far as it will go and then
tighten it slightly with a monkey wrench
or a 30mm spanner
3 Open the CO bottle by turning the opening

valve
NB: this can be difficult.
4 Adjust the CO flow: turn the black dial of

the regulator until the needle is positioned
on the number indicated on the label
attached to the manometer After 24 hours,
check that the needle is still pointing
to the same number
5 Test the CO flow: hold the black CO
2
the chimney, block it with your thumb and
wait for 10 seconds Unblock the pipe and
you should hear the gas coming out
6 To change the CO bottle, close the used
2
bottle and unscrew the regulator
Follow the instructions from step 2

Before inserting the CO bottle inside the trap:

1 Pass the power cord through the fairlead

Position the bottle so that it can be closed properly

3 Simply close the trap and then lock it to make it secure
provided for this purpose (on the bottom of the trap)
