Avoid the penetration of water into parts of the system during periods of inactivity to avoid the risk of short
circuits or malfunctions.
In case of emergency / danger the system can be stopped:
1) by disconnecting the power supply unit;
2) by activating the by-pass.
This will immediately stop the system.
2.4 Restarting after long periods of inactivity
•
Always have a qualified and specialised technician check that the system has maintained at the original
degree of protection of the electrical equipment.
•
Connect the power supply unit to the machine and check that the timer is working.
•
Slowly open the water inlet valve and then start forced regeneration.
•
Place 10 litres of lukewarm water and 50 ml of Amuchina in the salt container.
•
Wait for the end of regeneration (not before two and a half hours), then open the water outlet valve and
close the bypass valve.
