Installation of the shower rail
When installing e.g. on plasterboard walls (not solid walls) it
must be assured that an appropriate reinforcement is in place
to ensure sufficient strength.
1. Insert pipe (G) over O-ring (X) up to O-ring (X1) in the mixer
body, see Fig. [6].
2. Align pipe (G) and mark position of bores.
3. Drill holes and insert plugs, see Fig. [7].
4. Fasten backplate (H) with screws (H1) using seal (H2),
see Fig. [8].
5. Push escutcheon (J) onto bracket (I) and insert pipe (G) into
mixer body, see Fig. [9].
6. Push bracket (J) onto backplate (H), align, and fasten with
set screw (J1).
7. Push the escutcheon (I) against the wall.
8. Push the shower arm (K) onto the pipe connection from
above and secure with set screw (K1), see Fig. [10].
9. Attach hand shower (L) to hose (M) using the supplied
filter (L1) and connect to mixer.
Head shower
Insert seal (N1) and filter (N2) and screw head shower (N)
onto shower arm, see fold-out page III, Fig. [11].
Prevention of frost damage
When the domestic water system is drained, thermostats must
be drained separately, since non-return valves are installed in
the hot and cold water connections. For this purpose, the
mixer must be removed from the wall.
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace if necessary and lubricate
with special grease.
Shut off cold and hot water supply.
I. Non-return valve
1. Disassemble mixer in reverse order, see fold-out page II,
Fig. [2] and [3] and text under Installation.
2. Remove seal (O) and dirt strainer (O1), see fold-out page I.
3. Remove connection nipple (R) by turning clockwise (left-
hand thread) using a 12mm allen key
4. Remove non-return valve (R1).
5. Unscrew shower hose and remove non-return valve (S).
Install in reverse order.
II. Thermostatic cartridge
1. Detach the temperature control handle (E), see fold-out
page III, Fig. [12].
2. Remove clip (T1).
3. Remove stop ring (T).
4. Remove regulating nut (U) with overload unit (U1).
5. Screw out thermostatic cartridge (V) using a 22mm open-
ended spanner.
Install in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position of the stop
ring (T).
The overload unit (U1) (left-hand thread) must be screwed as
far as possible into the regulating nut (U).
Readjustment is necessary after every maintenance operation
on the thermostatic cartridge (see Adjusting).
III. Aquadimmer
1. Detach shut-off handle (D), see Fig. [13].
2. Unscrew screw (W1) and remove snap insert (W).
3. Detach stop (X).
4. Unscrew and remove Aquadimmer (Y) using a 19mm open-
ended spanner.
Install in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position, see Figs. [13]
and [14].
1. The various pins (Y1) and (Y2) must project into the relevant
apertures in the race, see Fig. [14].
2. Fit stop (X) so that the marking (X1) coincides with the
marking (D2) on the mixer body, see Fig. [13].
3. Fit snap insert (W). The faces (W2) coincide in only one
position.
4. Screw in screw (W1) and fit shut-off handle (D).
IV. Shower
Remove restrictor (N3) and O-ring (N4), see Fig. [15].
Install in reverse order.
The function of the SpeedClean nozzles is guaranteed for a
period of five years.
Simply rub SpeedClean nozzles in order to remove limescale
deposits from rose, see Fig. [16].
