BEFORE EVERY CHECKING OPERATION, IN CASE OF ANOMALIES OR BAD FUNCTIONING,
CA-MI DOES NOT GIVE GUARANTEE IF INSTRUMENT, AFTER THE TECHNICL SERVICE
CA-MI S.r.l. will provide upon request electric diagrams, components list, description, setting instructions and any
other information that can help the technical assistance staff for product repair.
1. Whenever it is used, the device must be checked beforehand in order to identify operating anomalies and /
or damage due to transport and / or storage.
2. During inhalation, the patient must sit upright in a relaxed position at a table and not in an armchair.
The device must be placed on a flat and steady surface.
3. Do not hold the device in your hands during the therapy and / or avoid prolonged contact against the body of
the appliance.
4. Unscrew the safety valve cap (6) and fill the boiler with 800ml demineralized or distilled water, using the
graduated container (10) and the funnel (13) provided. When you fill the boiler, the appliance must be off.
Firmly tighten the valve cap.
For filling the boiler always use the graduated container provided for collecting
5. Insert the nebulizer (1) into the sprayer and turn the screw firmly (4) to tighten it.
The drain for the used water from the nebulizer must be positioned downwards;
6. Place the container (10) under the nebulizer drain (3) to collect the used thermal water.
7. Place a bottle of thermal water in the appropriate compartment, then place the suction tube (8) inside the
same bottle. Check that the tube is positioned at the bottom of the bottle and then close it with the closure
cap (12).
8. Connect the other end of the suction tube to the sprayer connector (11).
9. Plug in the power cord of the unit to the power supply outlet.
10. To begin treatment, turn on the unit by turning the illuminated switch (7) to position I. The green light will
indicate that the device is powered correctly. Wait for the release of a large amount of steam (approximately
6-8 minutes). Before starting the device, make sure the boiler has been filled with 800 ml of demineralised
water and the valve cap has been tightened.
11. Position yourself in front of the device, at a distance of 20-40cm and begin the treatment, which will last
approximately 12-15 minutes (for 1 liter of thermal water)
BE VERY CAREFUL TO NOT REMOVE THE GUARD OF THE BOILER LOCATED NEAR THE SPRAYER NOZZLE
12. After treatment, turn the switch to 0 and unplug the unit. Before opening the valve and draining the
boiler, wait for the device to cool down completely, then, once the bottle has been taken out, remove the
accessories (separate the nebulizer and the sprayer suction tube), unscrew the safety cap and empty the
remaining water from the boiler.
ATTENTION: The amount of water placed inside the boiler (800cc) is enough for only one inhalation
treatment. NEVER use tap water, as the minerals will jeopardize the unit's operation, clogging the nebulizer
nozzle and the boiler. When the water has been used up (collected in the container), it no longer has
any therapeutic value and for therefore must not be reused.
13. Proceed with the cleaning operations as described in the CLEANING chapter.
14. For each treatment, check the water level inside the boiler.
DO NOT OPERATE THE DEVICE WITHOUT WATER IN THE BOILER AS THIS WILL ACTIVATE A
RESETTING THIS THERMOSTAT MUST BE PERFORMED AT AN AUTHORIZED CENTER AND/OR
PLEASE CONTACT CA-MI TECHNICAL SERVICE.
