Air Compressor Operation

EXPLOSION HAZARD
This air compressor is capable of infl ating up to 260 psi (18 bar) pressure. To avoid over-infl ating,
carefully follow instructions on articles to be infl ated. Never exceed recommended pressures.
Always check pressure with the pressure gauge. Never leave the compressor unattended while in
use. Over-infl ated articles may burst and can cause serious injury.
FIRE HAZARD
Do not operate air compressor continuously for extended periods of time, as it may overheat and
catch fi re.
Infl ating Products with a Valve Stem:
1.
Check manufacturer's specifi cation on item to be infl ated for correct infl ation pressure.
2.
Remove valve cap cover from valve stem.
3.
Push infl ation hose stem connector onto valve stem as far as possible and turn the locking thumb lever
to the down position.
4.
Press the 12V DC Power & USB/OFF/Air Infl ator switch to the right (compressor ON) position.
5.
Monitor pressure on air pressure gauge.
6.
When desired pressure is reached, press the 12V DC Power & USB/OFF/Air Infl ator switch to the
middle (OFF) position, turn the locking thumb lever to the up position and remove from valve stem.
Replace valve cap on valve stem.
7.
Store infl ation hose in storage compartment.

Recharge the Portable Power System as soon as possible after each use.
Infl ating Products without a Valve Stem (balls, air mattresses, rubber rafts, etc.):
1.
Check manufacturer's specifi cation on item to be infl ated for correct infl ation pressure.
2.
If applicable, remove infl ation port plug from the object that needs air.
3.
Insert appropriate infl ation nozzle as far as possible into stem connector on the infl ation hose. Turn the
locking thumb lever to the down position to lock the nozzle in the stem connector.

AC Power Inverter Operation

Understanding AC Appliances

AC appliances are rated by how much electrical power (in watts) they consume. The Portable Power System
can power most appliances within its continuous power rating of 200 watts. Some appliances may be diffi cult
or impossible to operate from this Portable Power System. They may have high surge requirements or
should not be run on this unit at all.
The wattage rating of AC appliances is the average power used by the appliance. Appliances such as
televisions and appliances with motors consume much more power than their average rating when they are
fi rst switched on. Although the Portable Power System can supply momentary surge power up to 400 watts,
some appliances may exceed the capabilities of this unit and trigger the safety overload shutdown circuit.
The output of the Portable Power System's inverter is a modifi ed sine wave. Some
equipment may not operate properly or be damaged by the inverter output in this unit.
