The bed must only be operated by adults. Check that the manoeuvre zone is clear. For vehicles fitted with a fold-down seat, this
must be folded away so as not to obstruct the living area door.
If the bed encounters an obstacle preventing it from reaching the lowered position, raise the bed, remove the obstacle and begin lowering
again until the bed stops in the fully lowered position.
If the bed rises when the "lower" button is pressed, the straps are winding the wrong way around the reels. If this happens, do
not continue to raise the bed or it may become stuck.
109
Simply press the "Raise" button until the straps wind the correct way again. Next, check for obstacles under the bed that could
have caused this malfunction (such as bench cushions) and that the lower stop is still in place.
If there is an obstacle under the bed, stop pressing the "lower" button, raise the bed and remove the obstacle.
Raised position
•
Ensure there are no people or objects on the bed.
•
Stow the ladder.
•
Press the "raise" button on the control unit and allow the bed to lift into the raised position.
•
Return cushions to seat position
In case of malfunction
If the bed does not work, check that power is going to the battery and the fuses. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.
Manual operating system
Pull-down beds are fitted with a manual operating system for use in emergencies. This consists of a release nut located at the rear of the bed
motor, which can be used to raise or lower the bed in case of malfunction.
This system is located behind a round cover or a removable panel.
If the problem persists, contact your dealer.
