2. Lower exhaust muffler – Using exhaust removal pliers, remove rubber hangers at
(3 ) locations. Be sure to support exhaust before removing rubber hangers.

3.Remove/trim heat shield – Using 10 mm socket, remove (2) flange nuts from heat
shield. Trim the heat shield as shown in Figure 2.
