The fixture cannot be used as a dusk-to-dawn light. The fixture has a built-in light sensor that prevents the motion sensor from activating
during daylight hours.
USING THE (PIR) SENSOR & LIGHT ACTIVATION CONTROLS
When the MINUTES control is set to TEST, the light will operate
both during daylight and night time.
Allow the motion sensor about 2 minutes to warm up prior to
conducting the "walk by test".
The MINUTES control determines the length of time the lights
stay on. When the MINUTES control is set between 1 and 10, the
light will only come on during night time hours.
The greater the DISTANCE setting, the great the chance for false
activations by the (PIR) sensor.
The (PIR) sensor should be angled slightly downward at all times.
DO NOT exceed a ~45 degree angle (Fig.1) to ensure the water will
run off and not expose the controls to splashing water.
DO NOT POSITION THE SENSOR WITH THE CONTROLS FACING
UPWARD.
USING MANUAL OVERRIDE

OFF
MANUAL OVERRIDE allows the light to turn on at any time, by overriding
all sensor controls, so the light comes on regardless of time of day.

TEST MODE:
Rotate the MINUTES control knob to TEST to calibrate the fixture. Both lights will turn on for approximately
20 seconds.
With the control knob still on TEST, do a "walk by test" by walking in front of the motion sensor (as indicated
in Fig. 2 below). As movement is detected, the lights will activate. Stop and the lights shut off approximately

5 seconds after movement is no longer detected in the sensor's field. Continue walking and the lights should
once again turn on. Once out of the detection range, the lights will shut off and the test is complete. IF THE
TEST FAILS, try readjusting the sensor head. Sensor head can be adjusted either up or down, or left or right.
SET MINUTES KNOB TO
SETTING THE LIGHT ACTIVATION TIME:
Rotate the MINUTES control knob clockwise past the TEST area to control the length of time the lights
will remain on. The time settings of 1 (1 min.), 5 (5 min.) and 10 (10 min.) are marked. However, the MINUTES
control knob can be set anywhere from 1 minute up to 10 minutes. The time length can be adjusted up or
down, but do not rotate the MINUTES control knob back to the TEST area.

SETTING THE MOTION DETECTION DISTANCE:
Rotate the DISTANCE control knob anywhere from "10Ft"to MAX. (70 feet).
When the DISTANCE control knob is turned to "10Ft", the detection
zone is very tight and compact, causing the detection sensitivity to
be very high. The reverse is true, when the DISTANCE control

Position fixture over the mounting strap and tighten the long machine screw (CC)
through the center hole of the wall plate into mounting strap. Restore power to
the electrical box and verify the light is functioning properly. If the light functions
properly, fasten the silicone cap (EE) into the mounting screw opening to prevent
water from seeping into the housing.
For round surface mount electrical boxes make sure the gasket (GG) properly seals the gap
between the wall plate and electrical box to prevent water from seeping into the j-box.
For recessed electrical boxes, use silicone adhesive caulking (not included)
to seal the gap between the wall plate and the mounting surface to prevent
water seepage into the electrical enclosure.

knob is turned to "MAX." it increases the
detection zone exponentially. Perform a
"walk by test" by walking across the motion
detection field at the approximate distance set
on the DISTANCE control knob. IF THE TEST FAILS,
try adjusting the sensor head toward the detection zone.
Sensor head can be adjusted either up or down, or left or right.

SETTING THE LIGHT MANUAL OVERRIDE:
If the security light has been turned off at the switch, turn it on for 60 seconds to
allow the (PIR) sensor time to warm up prior to initiating the manual override sequence.
To switch over to manual mode, switch the power OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 2 seconds.
There are 2 ways to return to sensor control:
1) To immediately switch out of manual mode, repeat the manual mode sequence of
power OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 2 seconds. This will cancel out manual mode.
2) The security light will remain on until the internal dusk-to-dawn sensor detects
the next dusk-dawn cycle. Once light is detected, it will allow the motion sensor to
return to controlling the fixture the next day.
