4.0 CONNECTION OF DRY CONTACT OUTPUT
The PV1-N control unit allows also using the control output with DRY CONTACTS, instead of live contacts (for the
management of other control units).
To be able to use the control unit with DRY CONTACT outputs, connect the control unit as in the diagram below.
5.0 ADJUSTMENT OF WIND TRIMMER AND WIND ALARM
5.1 RAIN ALARM
- If there is a RAIN SENSOR CONNECTED to the control unit and if it is RAINING, the control unit will send an awning
CLOSING ALARM command.
- The RAIN SENSOR is of the CAPACITIVE type and DETECTS the intensity of the rain (to test the correct operation of
the sensor simply tap with your fingers in different points of the sensitive area of the rain gauge).
- In case of RAIN ALARM, the LED status is as follows: RED LED ON.
- THE RAIN ALARM PREVENTS ANY control unit operation.
- THE RAIN ALARM remains ACTIVE FOR 8 MINUTES since the LAST detection of RAIN STATUS.
- If a RAIN SENSOR IS NOT CONNECTED, RAIN STATUS detection CANNOT OCCUR.
This product falls within the scope of application of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE).
For correct disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators, the owner must deliver the product
to special "collection centres" provided by municipalities.
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin, present on equipment label, indicates that the product is in
compliance with the standard on waste electrical and electronic equipment. The release into the
environment and the illegal disposal of the equipment shall be punished by law.
- The TR trimmer is used to adjust the WIND intensity, which, if exceeded, triggers the
control unit WIND ALARM, CLOSING the awning. It is increased by operating with a
screwdriver COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. It is decreased by operating CLOCKWISE.
- If there is a WIND SENSOR CONNECTED to the control unit, WITH WIND HIGHER THAN
THE SET THRESHOLD, the control unit will send an awning CLOSING ALARM command.
- In case of WIND ALARM, the LED status is as follows: RED LED ON.
- THE WIND ALARM PREVENTS ANY control unit operation.
- THE WIND ALARM remains ACTIVE FOR 8 MINUTES since the LAST detection of
WIND BEYOND THE SET THRESHOLD.
- If the wind sensor is unconnected nothing will occur.
