2.15.2 Installing Windows
Without RAID Functions
If you want to install Windows
HDDs without RAID functions, please follow below steps.
Using SATA3 HDDs without NCQ and Hot Plug functions (IDE mode)
STEP 1: Set up UEFI.
A. Enter UEFI SETUP UTILITY
Configuration.
B. Set the "SATA Mode" option to [IDE] for SATA3_0 to SATA3_5 ports.
Set the "SATA3 Configuration" option to [IDE] for SATA3_A1 and
SATA3_A2 ports.
STEP 2: Install Windows
system.
Using SATA3 HDDs with NCQ and Hot Plug functions (AHCI mode)
STEP 1: Set up UEFI.
A. Enter UEFI SETUP UTILITY
Configuration.
B. Set the "SATA Mode" option to [AHCI] for SATA3_0 to SATA3_5 ports.
Set the "SATA3 Configuration" option to [AHCI] for SATA3_A1 and
SATA3_A2 ports.
STEP 2: Install Windows
system.
