Below is an explanation of the CE Marking and other markings on the Field Armor 2 Boot envisaged both by Directive 89/686/EEC and by EN
13634:2010. The CE marking is located on a label stitched onto the Field Armor 2 Boots

X¹ numeral denotes impact abrasion resistance level of upper
X² numeral denotes impact cut resistance level of upper
X³ numeral denotes transverse rigidity of footwear
IPA - footwear meeting the optional requirements for ankle impact protection
IPS - footwear meeting the optional requirements for shin impact protection
WR - footwear meeting the optional requirements for resistance to water penetration

FO - footwear meeting the optional requirements for resistance to fuel oil

In addition to the markings described above, the year and, at least, the quarter of manufacture will also be
indicated on a separate label. Some additional coded information, which Icon® uses to track the product may also
appear. The code may also appear in other versions of the marking.
