To attach bases, insert screws through washers
and base. Do not tighten yet.
ASSEMBLE TOWERS:
Loosely install 'A' plates
with short screws.
Open all
tower
levers.
Tighten screw located behind
each tower.
CLOSE ALL LEVERS!
Closing levers
stops towers
from sliding on
bases.
IF LEVER WILL NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY,
make sure the base is aligned to the tower.

DISASSEMBLE TOWERS & BASES:
Open the tower levers and slide bases off.
BE SURE SCREWS
HAVE ENGAGED THE
PLATES.
Slide onto bars.
Slide rack onto
bases which have
been tightened.
Install screw
covers.
Install SKS
(purchased separately).
Rotate the small hole inside the
lock housing so that the point in
the core will align.

Determine the crossbar
spread for your load, and
place bases at equal points
on both tracks.
Attach
end caps
to bars.

Locks
Use existing nut-plates (4 per track)
when possible...
• Factory crossbars or accessories may need to be
removed.
• IF THERE ARE FEWER than 4 plates per track,
install additional plates following Fit Sheet directions.
• See Fit Sheet for the exact plate and screw specified
for your vehicle.
Tighten bases
to tracks.
Secure end
caps to bars
with tapered
screws.
WARNING:
Levers may fall closed and
prevent bases from sliding on.
A friend could help here!
NOTE: To remove
screw covers,
push from inside
front of tower.
TEST INSTALLATION BY
PULLING ON EACH BAR.
Some play between tower
and base is normal.
Be sure there is
no movement by
pulling the bases
in all directions.
