Steam cooking

1/ Unscrew the water reservoir plug.

2/ Fill the water reservoir using the opening as called for in the cooking guide below.
3/ Screw down the water reservoir plug so that the coloured oval on the plug lines up

with the mark on top of the steamer/blender.

4/ Swivel the lid clockwise and lift to remove.

5/ Cut the food into small cubes.
6/ Place the cubes into the large basket.
If you wish to separate types of food in order to blend them separately (and avoid

mixing fl avours) :
- rst place the half-basket inside the large basket so that it ts fl ush with the

corresponding ridges on the large basket.

- place the food separately in each compartment.
7/ Place the basket(s) in the cooking bowl and t the bowl lid snugly. Check that there
is no play.

8/ Place the bowl on the base and lock into place. The blade must not be dismantled
9/ Plug in the appliance.
10/ Press the on/off button to start cooking. The light comes on, indicating that cooking

is in progress.
11/ When cooking is completed, the appliance beeps and the light goes off.
12/ Unplug the appliance. Remove the lid.

13/ Remove the basket(s) using the spatula.

14/ To remove the bowl from its base, unscrew it taking it by the handle and turning it
clockwise.

Blending

1/ Place the cooked food from the large basket directly into the cooking bowl.

2/ Close the bowl lid.
3/ Place the bowl on the base and lock into place.
4/ Plug in the appliance.
5/ Turn the blend button to the right or left depending on the required blend speed, for
approximately ten seconds :

- Smooth texture : turn the button to the left §§ (high speed)

- Texture with small pieces: turn the button to the right § (medium speed)
If blending does not take place, check that the bowl is fastened onto the base and that
the lid is properly closed. The blend button may come out slightly during blending - this
